The Cougars Lacrosse Alliance is bringing lacrosse to the City of Asheville, including to the Asheville City Schools. The Alliance’s three-part strategy to make the fastest growing team sport in the country accessible to ALL student athletes in Asheville includes:
(1) organizing and funding a men’s lacrosse team at Asheville High School through the spring of 2022;
(2) organizing and funding a women’s lacrosse team at Asheville High School through the spring of 2022; and
(3) organizing and funding youth lacrosse programming at the elementary and middle school levels through Asheville City Schools and the City of Asheville Afterschool and Parks & Recreation Departments.
